Overview

A European hub for holding and trade

The Netherlands is an EU member state that uses the euro, with major ports and a long tradition of international trade. Dutch companies are often used as European operating, distribution and holding companies.

Companies and foundations are formed by notarial deed and registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK), which issues extracts from the Business Register. Beneficial owners are recorded in the Dutch UBO register.
